Jeff sits down with Disney Master Sandy to discuss the many benefits of FastPass for Florida guests and MaxPass for those visiting in California.

You can also read about MaxPass more here

MaxPass is available at Disneyland.  It is a combination of electronic FastPass (otherwise they still have the legacy paper machines) and PhotoPass.  You purchase it per day, per person.  As of February 2020, it is $20 a person (ages 3+) if purchase alone or $15 a day, per person if purchased as part of a vacation package.   All FastPasses can only be reserved once in the park and one attraction at a time.

At Walt Disney World, all guests receive FastPass free of charge. For onsite guests, you may reserve 3 FastPasses per person, per day (in 1 park) starting 60 days prior to check in at 7am EST.  Onsite guests can make these reservations for their entire stay on day one.  Many travel agents, including the concierge team at EZ Dis by Instant Impressions will make these reservations for you!  If you are an offsite guest, you can reserve your FastPasses beginning at 7am 30 days in advance, one day at a time.  Once you have used all 3 FastPasses, you can continue to reserve one more at a time all day long until there are no more available.   Your additional FastPasses can be reserved in a different park.
